Development Terms
Acceptance:
It is not necessary for any Client to have signed an acceptance of these terms and conditions for them to apply. If a Client orders a product or service or accepts a quote, then the Client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms herein and have accepted these terms and conditions in full.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Any purchase or use of our services implies that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions in full.
Charges
Charges for services to be provided by SkyMagento are defined in the project quotation that the Client receives via e-mail. Quotations are valid for a period of 14 days. SkyMagento reserves the right to alter or decline to provide a quote after expiry of the 14 days.
Unless agreed otherwise with the Client, all purchases and development services require an advance payment of the order or project quotation before the work is scheduled.
We try to estimate the installation of Magento modules and server specific alterations and customizations as accurately as possible, but we cannot foresee all server specific issues like module conflicts and other existing errors in your website. Therefore, a standard installation is limited to three hours per module and other quotes are estimates with no fixed fees. Client agrees to order additional development hours when this is needed.
Client Review
SkyMagento will provide the Client with an opportunity to review the development of an installation or custom job. At the completion of the project, such materials will be deemed to be accepted and approved unless the Client notifies SkyMagento otherwise within ten (10) days of the date the changes are made available to the Client.
Turnaround Time
SkyMagento will install and post or supply the Client's project by the date specified in the project proposal, or at a date the client agrees with upon SkyMagento receiving initial payment, unless a delay is specifically requested by the Client and agreed by SkyMagento.
In return, the Client agrees to delegate a single individual as a primary contact to aid SkyMagento with progressing the commission in a satisfactory and expedient manner.
Module installations by SkyMagento
An installation or module customization performed by SkyMagento will be limited to a single store view unless otherwise agreed. SkyMagento is not responsible for altering the design of the module to fit in your theme. (e.g. CSS and HTML changes to change the appearance of buttons).
SkyMagento will also not alter the functionality of the modules to fit in custom theme blocks (i.e. home page product views).
Client is responsible for design and functionality of Customized modules in the Grid and List views of Magento unless otherwise agreed.
Client is responsible to mention any other installed modules or customizations that can lead to a module conflict with our modules. SkyMagento will take into account these possible conflicts in quotations for installations and customizations. Client agrees to order additional support and development hours to fix module conflicts.
Module conflicts
Modules delivered by SkyMagento are complex modules and covers all the Magento standards as advised by Magento. These modules can easily be involved in class conflicts with other modules. SkyMagento is not responsible for making all modules work together in your store.
Failure to provide required server access:
SkyMagento is a small business and to maintain efficiency we must ensure that work we have programmed is carried out at the scheduled time. On occasion, we may have to reject offers for other work and inquiries to ensure that your work is completed at the arranged time.
This is why we ask that you provide all the required information in advance. On any occasion where progress cannot be made on your website because we have not been given the required information in the agreed upon time frame, and we are delayed as result, we reserve the right to impose a surcharge of up to 25% of your project cost.
After Sale Support
After sale support period is a duration provided to our small to medium customers to check and ensure the functionalities using their in-house developers to see if they found bugs which is bound to the original scope of work but not working as requested or agreed can be fixed during the provided after sale support period.
We reserve rights to review and fix the bug imposed intentionally or un-intentionally due to our development for up-to a 10% of time spent on your project unless otherwise agreed.
Increasing the limit beyond the stated or agreed time will be charged at flat rate of $45/hour which should be counted as additional expenses and will be charged and served accordingly.
Payment
Invoices will be provided by SkyMagento scheduling the work. Invoices are sent via email.
Additional Expenses
Client must agrees to reimburse SkyMagento for any additional expenses necessary for the completion of the work. Examples would be setting up a development server, fixing module conflicts, etc.
Modification to the services & Prices
Prices for any of services use are subject to change 14 days in advance notice of the company. This notice may be provided at any time by posting changes on the Site or in email announcement.
